First Day of Torts

This morning I attended my first Tort's class. Professor Hayes appears to be a down to earth, here to help you, friendly person. So far his reading assignments are reasonable and I enjoyed prepping for the class.

Last night I had a difficult time getting to sleep due to the anxiety of first day of real law classes. After class I conducted an interview with a fellow class mate for our Criminal Law class tomorrow. We had to bring an object that has special meaning to us. I brought the 8x10 collage that Aleece made for me of her and the kids from our photo shoot.

I feel tremendously blessed to have such a loving and caring wife. I sure do miss her and my beautiful children.

More of the valley.
Oh sweet, sweet, sweet Maryland, it has been 8 years since I have been in your presence. So great to be back. Now humidity you can exit stage left!
How can you not enjoy the beauty of this state.
Dear Utah, this is how you maintain roads.
Fredrick, Maryland

It was a long trip but it is over....thank goodness. I left at 2am Thursday morning and arrived Saturday evening at 6pm local time. I had a 3 hour lay over in Ogden waiting for David Baker to get off of work and visit with him. I slept for 2 hours in Baker City, Oregon, 7 hours in Wyoming just past Evanston and 3 hours in Gary, Indiana. Don't forget about losing 3 hours because of the time difference. I made amazing time.

Wow, what a view (PA)
More tolls.....I hate tolls
Anyone want to take a swim?
Looks so refreshing.
Look at all that green, looks like the Willamette Valley.
Time to drive through a mountain.
You stay in your lane pushy!
Still holding my breath.
Oh sweet Baltimore, I have located a sign bearing your name.
Through those shrubs there is an amazing valley view.

Night time, 70 mph and cameras do not produce quality pictures. Welcome to Illinois!
The most unpleasant state of the trip...Indiana. Way to humid and it smelled like sulfur almost the entire distance.
Ohio, you are a beautiful state. I don't feel so bad that your best football team beat my Ducks after having visited your state.

Much prettier in person.
Ohio
I hope that bridge was designed by a non Oregon State Grad!
Thank you for such a warm welcome Pennsylvania.
Toll booths are good for one thing....draining your wallet. Spent way too much on stupid tolls.
Well maybe the view was worth the toll....maybe!
Oh Nebraska, what were you thinking?
Nebraska
More Nebraska
